Kim
Kirkpatrick has lived in the Washington D.C. area since
1959. His photography is of a personal landscape, an exploration
of the D.C.-Baltimore area. In tandem with his twenty years of
work in landscape photography, Kim has taught at numerous institutions,
for all ages and levels. He continues this career at the Corcoran
College of Art and Design and for the Smithsonian
Resident Associates Program. Kim has extensive exhibition
experience, fellowships, and publications of his work and writings.
He lives in Silver Spring, Maryland with his infinitely understanding
wife, two incredible daughters, Kiefer (the Dalmatian), and cabinets
filled with a diverse CD collection.
